State Constitutional Officer Ethics Training Requirement

Section 112.3142, F.S., requires that Florida’s state constitutional officers complete a minimum of four hours of ethics training each year. Please know that the Florida Commission on Ethics maintains links to video and audio presentations on different ethics topics at:

as well as, information about additional ethics training opportunities.

The Florida Commission on Ethics encourages newly elected state constitutional officers to complete their initial ethics training requirement soon after they assume office. State constitutional officers should certify that they have completed the required ethics training annually on the Commission’s Full and Public Disclosure of Financial Interests form (Form 6, Part F - Training).

If you have any questions concerning this requirement, please contact the Florida Commission on Ethics at (850) 488-7864 or www.ethics.state.fl.us.
